My Review:

I think this story has stolen my words, because I’m not even sure how to say what I feel about this book. It’s sweet and spicy with a bit of angst and a dose of family drama, both of which I suspect are going to play out more as we get further into the series. If this book were a season, I’d call it ‘spring’. There are still storms that rip through and create chaos, but it’s all about new beginnings, a fresh start, new life. This story felt very focused on EJ and Bri falling in love after their whirlwind night in Vegas, and the hurdles the need to overcome in order to blend their lives and careers, keeping the whole tone of the book fairly light and sweet. Take note that their story does not finish here, this book has one heck of a cliff-hanger ending that’s a guarantee I’m coming back for the next one. I’m desperate to find out how the author is going to get them through this.
