My Review:

Alexis is ready to take the world by storm, but the world is taking its own sweet time letting her get on with it. In the meantime, she’s been crushing on Boone for what feels like forever. Boone was burned by relationships in the past and has an understandable reluctance to ever get into another, but there’s something about Alexis that draws him in, and protecting her from jerks might just be his new calling. This quick read was spicy but oh so sweet. Boone has all the alpha caretaker energy I could hope for, and Alexis is so feisty and independent. I loved watching their chemistry at work, and now I can’t wait to read the rest of the series.
