My Review:
This book took my soft squishy heart and broke it into so many little pieces. Hunter could almost be a gothic hero if he were a bit more dark and broody, he’s got the tragic backstory locked up. (See previous note about breaking my heart.) He’s never felt worthy of the girl of his dreams, but now that he’s made a success of himself, maybe he has a chance. I loved Krista’s independence and desire to make it in the world without relying solely on the power of her family name. Though, there were a couple of times that I thought her pride got in the way of her good sense. I adored these two together and the almost second-chance vibe that surrounded this pair. The quirky supporting cast nearly ran away with the show on more than one occasion and I’m itching to get my hands on all their stories at some point.
