My Review:
Sigh! That was so incredibly sweet, and I feel like the most important thing I’ll be taking away from this book was the huge smile on my face during most of it. Abel and Kara had a few tense, anxious moments where a smile was definitely not the correct response, but the overall feeling of this book was that warm cozy safety you get when you’re surrounded by people who love you and who you love. I was amazed by the growth both Abel and Kara undergo, particularly in their relationships with their mothers. And the little bomb the author snuck into that ending means I absolutely cannot wait to get my hands on the next book.
