As personnel issues lead to personal pleasure between them, Ava’s big city dream drifts away, replaced by visions of a family in the country. In the end, Branson will have to face tough truths about himself, his ranch, and his relationship. And if he fails to see the light, he’s going to lose the love of his life.

My Review:

This was a super quick little read and an intriguing start to a new series There’s a bit of a second chance feel added to this best friend’s sibling story that made it all the more enticing to me – I’m a sucker for a second chance. I admired Ava’s spunk. She’s feisty and independent and working so hard to achieve her dreams even though life threw her an unexpected curveball. Bran made me a little mental. He’s so stubborn and set in his ways. I got a little dizzy for the number of times I swung back and forth between loving and hating him. Together, Ava and Bran have a lot to work through and I enjoyed watching them do it. I’m looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
