The Obsidian Order Book 2
Find my magic. Be the best. Beat the odds.
I survived the Obsidian Order's first series of trials. I stopped a madman from putting a massive crater in the middle of New York City. Good job, Seline, but that was only the beginning.
As I take on my silver trials, friends become competition, competitors turn ruthless, and I still can't touch my magic without it nearly killing me every time I do. If I don't win these trials I'll get left behind, and I've been promised that won't be good for me.
If that weren't enough, the infuriatingly sexy Draven asks me to accompany him on a mission to retrieve an item of incredible magical power. Naturally, I saddle up and go with him, hoping at the very least to get a few extra credit points on my trials. But what I encounter is bigger than trials or Orders, and could mean the death of us all.
Wings of Night is a fast paced urban fantasy, with characters that'll make you laugh, gripping scenes that'll make you frantically turn pages to find out what happens next, and sizzling romantic tension that'll leave you wanting more. So, scroll up and treat yourself!

My Review:
I thought I was so proud of myself for maybe having an inkling of where this series might go next. Just as the gods laugh at mortals with a plan, I’m sure authors laugh at readers with a theory. Because at no point could I have predicted any of what just happened in this book. I love that we’re starting to tease threads of Seline’s very tangled web free, and that were beginning to see how Draven is wrapped up in it all. And while I love all the suspense and drama the slow reveal across the series creates, it’s making me a crazy person because I NEED the know the answers. I guess I’m just going to have to wait (im)patiently for the next book now. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author.
