Courtney Nash wants one thing and one thing only – her soulmate. However, getting Chief Owen McNally’s attention isn’t as easy as she thought it would be.

With a little help from her dead grandmother, a few love potions, and some pesky raccoons, Courtney sets out to get her man.

Owen isn’t overly fond of Halloween. Something bad always happens and this year would be no exception. But Owen isn’t prepared for the return of his high school sweetheart, or the voice in the back of his mind telling him Courtney is the woman of his dreams. Especially when that voice sounds hauntingly like Courtney’s late grandmother.

When a neighborhood robber breaks into Courtney’s house, Owen jumps into action. Will he be able to save the woman he knows for sure he can’t live without?

And will she be able to forgive him for not believing in her?

My Review:

Paranormal romantic comedy. It’s not a combination I run across very often, but it’s one of my favorites. This one has the added bonus of including the romantic suspense the author does so well. This fun little Halloween story sucked me from the beginning. I laughed at Courtney’s pratfalls and wanted to smack Owen for being such a big oaf. But when the chips were down, they pulled through for each other. I loved this story and I want to read more about them. I read a borrowed copy of this book.
