My Review:
I have been impatiently waiting for Trick’s story for what feels like forever, and finally I have it. I wasn’t expecting it to tie back in to those couple of dangling plot threads left from ‘Calen’s Captive’ but I’m so glad it did. Trick has been one of my favorite characters since I first met him. His jovial, light-hearted exterior hides a man of great depths and passions. Tahlia seems to be a perfect partner for him. She’s quiet and studious to balance his more mercurial moods. She’s also resourceful with an inner strength that more than capable of standing up to the youngest Tyler brother when he’s gone full-out alpha dictator. This book has also hinted at an unexpected supernatural element that I’m curious to see where it takes us. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author.
