Big Sky Country Book 1
"Great characters...great chemistry"
"It will make your heart break..."
"...a roller-coaster of emotions..."
On the anniversary of her sister's murder, Calista Hartman returns to Backwater, MT. She'd rather be anywhere else. She left the town, its memories, and the only man she'd ever loved behind years ago.
Sheriff Gage Ryker believes official procedures and rules are the only way to keep his town, his family, and his heart safe. But now Calista has come home, and the rules have changed.
Calista and Gage will have to work together to solve a string of robberies. But gunfire shattered trust long ago, and more lives will suffer if they don't move forward and leave the past behind.

My Review:
Long ago, tragedy tore these two families apart. Calista and Gage haven’t healed, nor have they found forgiveness, from that night. This was a beautiful second chance romance, with a thread of mystery and a whole lot of growth and recovery. I was quickly sucked into its pages and carried away by the story. It hurt my heart to see the amount of pain the Hartman and Ryker families still carry, yet I loved witnessing the healing that takes place in this book. I’ve already started to fall in love with Backwater and now I can’t wait to see what else the author’s going to bring us from this little town.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
