My Review:
I give up fighting it. I’m well and truly hooked now. The action and drama are intense and edge-of-your-seat thrilling. I’m still not a fan of the introductory novellas, though I was fascinated to see aspects of the story that we hadn’t known before. I’m amazed at the author’s ability to make one of the most conscienceless villains I’ve ever read almost sympathetic. But that ending made me swear in every language I know; and a few of them I was pretty sure I didn’t. Though there’s a tiny part of me sitting back going: “really? It took them three books to discover what I figured out early in the first one?” In any case, I think it’s official. I’m a fan for life. Now I can’t wait to find out what’s next.
