blakespeaks_ Eleven years ago, I watched my hometown—and him—fade in the rearview mirror. It’s been one hundred and thirty-two months since his lips kissed mine. I’ve moved on, gotten over it. Haven’t I? After four thousand and seventeen days, one cheating fiancé, and one backstabbing best friend, Calvin is the last person I should be thinking about.I’ve only been home for twelve hours, and I can’t help but wonder if time wasn’t enough to heal old wounds.#oldflame #freshstart #younglove #timeforachange #mypast #myfuture #hiseyes #cowboytakemeaway #giddyup #countrygirlatheart #lovestory #noregrets #movingon #homesweethome #cowboylover #herides #secondchance #cantgethimoffmymind

I never thought I’d see her again- wasn’t prepared to. How the hell am I supposed to work with her everyday when the sound of her laugh stops me in my tracks?#shemightlooklikeheaven #shesmakingmylifehell

My Review:
Oh my gosh. This book was just so good, I feel a little at a loss for words. Their hometown represented little more than loss and pain to Blake. To Calvin, it’s all his future hopes and dreams with her. When circumstances bring her back again, all that unresolved emotional baggage is waiting to be unpacked. Blake and Calvin are a couple I think desperately needed a second chance to get it right. And I loved every minute of watching them try – both the failures and the successes. This story manages to be both poignant and silly, sometimes at the same time. I can’t wait to read more from the author. I received a complimentary copy of this book through Hidden Gems Books.
