My Review:
They say you can’t go home again, but I think the author, and our leading lady, have proven that sometimes you can. In this book, I liked Jaime, but I loved Wade. There was just something about seeing all the hard work he was putting in to make his family’s business a success that pulled me in. I found it a very stark difference to the way Jaime was handling her business. I loved that this had a bit of a second chance vibe between our hero and heroine even though they were never actually a couple before this. It also gave me a bit of a “friends to lovers” feeling, the way they come together. I really enjoyed seeing the happy ever after they get, but they sure made me wonder if they were going to get there at times.
