My Review:

This book was twisted, dark, and compelling. I opened this book not really knowing what to expect. Having read the prequel, I couldn’t envision where the author was going to take us. At times it was difficult for my sensitive soul to read about what Kai suffered and what she was still experiencing in the aftermath. I felt conflicted knowing Enzo’s desires. In my wildest imaginings, I couldn’t have predicted this twist on Kai and Enzo’s story. But after what we learn in the ending, I’m even more desperate to find out what happens next. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
