My Review:

Moments of high stress can generate strong emotional connections. Is there much that’s higher stress than being caught in a life and death situation with your ex? I can’t think of one offhand. Suffering from an overabundance of family issues to deal with, Holden broke off his relationship with Eden. Neither has completely recovered from that ending. When a storm and injuries trap them in an inaccessible area of the island, the pair will have to deal with all the feelings they still have from that long ago break up as well as all the new feelings being stuck together has brought up. I thought this was a very sweet story. It hurt my heart to see them struggling to find common ground and work through the misunderstandings they have.
