Hill City Heroes Book 3

Still reeling from being kidnapped and tortured by a copycat arsonist, Baylor Bass is struggling to adapt to her new life. Not only has she left her previous career as a police officer to become the newest member of the Hill City Fire Department, she’s also learning what it means to have Zander Doyle as her Daddy.

On top of her personal battles, the Hill City Arsonist is still at large, and he’s grown even bolder. Can Baylor learn to soar in her new roles and help catch a killer? Or will she get too close to the sun and lose everything she’s worked so hard for?

Publisher's Note: This steamy action-packed romance contains elements of power exchange.

My Review:

If you’re considering reading this book and you haven’t read the ones that come before it, stop! Go back and read those first. I didn’t and it’s a mistake I regret. This really isn’t a standalone story. It’s very definitely part of a series. The way it starts, and ends makes that very clear. But, holy cow, what a story! I know I’m missing most of the backstory that got us to this point, but that didn’t matter. I was hooked. I was immediately captivated by the mysteries surrounding this Hill City firehouse. As well as being in awe of the strength and bravery of the men and women caught in the middle. That ending left me both speechless and howling over the injustice of being left hanging there. I need to know more. NOW! I received a complimentary copy of this book through Booksprout.

Other books in the series:

Fire Princess (Hill City Heroes Book 1)

Beautiful Burn (Hill City Heroes Book 2)
