Drew Baxter needed a change.

His brother suggested he needed to find a good woman. He rejected the idea until Amy Denham walked into the local hangout. The all-hands guy friend she was with was sloppy drunk, and Drew was in the mood to assist, even offer something more if she was interested.

Amy Denham was looking for a new start in a new town.

She’d found a job, a place to rent, but her bad habit of dating wealthy, shallow men had tagged along for the ride. If she wanted to make a new start, she had to ditch her old life and try something different and Drew Baxter was different.

My Review:

Meet cute meets Murphy’s Law the morning after. It’s a lightning fast little read, but that just means that the emotions are that much sharper, that much more powerful. And I’d just about give my eye teeth for more page time with them. Drew feels stuck in a rut. Enter Amy, a breath of fresh air in his predictable world. Their Chemistry is instant and combustible. In the morning light, will all the complications they’ve just created for themselves be worth it? I really enjoyed meeting these two. They’re both determined and independent, but they’re also willing to compromise for one another. I can’t wait to read more about them and the people they surround themselves with. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this story from the author.
