My Review:
I love flawed heroes. I especially love the ones that are able to put their life back on track after watching it go up in flames. Eric is one of those types of heroes. After successfully beating back the gambling addiction that lost him his job as a surgeon, he’s prepared to sacrifice everything he’s made of himself when he learns that the love of his life is in trouble. Andie’s had a hard couple of years after Eric dropped out of her life with no explanation, but now she needs to beat potential drug charges if she wants to save the career she’s been training for. I loved seeing the effort Eric was willing to go to in order to prove his love to Andie and to prove her innocence to the authorities. I also liked that he was a little lower on the alpha scale. After all, spice is always hotter when you mix it with a little sweet. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author.
