My Review:
It always seems to be the books that leave the biggest impact on me that leave me with the fewest words to say about them. I’ve come at Ryder and Khloe’s story pretty much backwards by reading about where they are now (in Purged) first before going back to their beginning to discover how they got there. This book was an emotional roller-coaster. I laughed, I cried, I gasped, I sighed. This book has all of the elements that are why I love reading suspenseful romance: an alpha protector determined to save the day, a feisty heroine who refuses to be left out, and a twisty plot that leads me down several rabbit holes while thwarting the villain. This book also teases us with the starts of a few side stories that I can’t wait to read. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author.
