Book Review: Nightshade by Jen Talty

My Review:

There’s a lot of story in this little book. It’s got drama, action, passion; all the best things I look for in good romantic suspense. For such a short page count it packs a surprising amount of emotional angst. Xavier and Cali are so perfect for each other, it was physically painful to me watching them fumble their way through their association. Even though this pair generates so much heat together, there’s something so tender and sweet about their feelings for one another. I would have happily kept reading for another several thousand words. I wasn’t ready for it to be over. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author.
