The Playbook Series Book 2
Manscaping- the fashion and style column on The Playbook online men’s magazine…and Mia’s new job. Well…internship. It was only for six weeks, just so she could get the credits she needed to graduate from university, but they were paying her, so…yeah, her new job. The only problem? She would be working directly under Liam. Not that she had a problem being under Liam. She’d been there once before and it had been the best night of her life, but yeah, that was exactly the problem. She’d been under Liam before and now he was going to be her boss.He probably didn’t even remember her. He’d never called or tried to contact her after a night she would never forget so maybe it hadn’t been so unforgettable for him…but now she would be working directly under him. Yeah. That was going to be a problem.

My Review:
~sigh~ Liam almost might as well be a regency gothic hero. He’s got all the brooding moodiness to fit the part, and he’s got a wagon train of baggage to explain it. Having read Jonathon’s story already, I was very excited to learn Liam’s opinion of those events. I loved Mia to bits and pieces. I knew I was going to the moment we were introduced to her and I learned that she was a bit of a klutz. We’re kindred spirits in that way. I have some very split reactions to this pair. I badly want to take them and shake some sense into them and at the same time, I want to squeeze them tight in a great big bear hug and tell them it’s all going to turn out okay. I adored watching the antics of their families and friends, but I definitely wanted to shake some sense into that group of interfering busybodies. I’m now counting down until I can get my hands on the next book in the series.
