My first mistake? Causing the h-o-t Frenchman a concussion. My second? Telling the hospital staff that I was his girlfriend. In my defense, he didn’t speak English. My third? Taking him home and letting him sleep in my bed. I never said I was Florence Nightingale . . . He gave me a night I’ll never forget but when I wake, he’s already gone. I tell myself it’s his loss, that I wasn’t expecting him to stay forever anyway, And my life moves on. I get a new job. A fresh start in a new country and I stop counting my mistakes. Until those striking green eyes meet mine across the office, And it all comes rushing back. But he’s not that man anymore. Gone are his jeans and his playful attitude. Rich and powerful, he’s now sin in a suit. And his English is perfect. Were his kisses also lies? His caresses meaningless? I feel like such a fool—I want to wrap my hands around his neck. Though not to hug him, Because the man is a force of nature. A master manipulator. He’s also my new boss. And I already hate him. The biggest lies are the ones we tell ourselves. LIAR LIAR is a contemporary romance set in a billionaire's playground. It features a Frenchman with more secrets than moves, lovers-who-become-enemies then back again, twists and turns, laughter and love. And did I mention the super swoony Frenchman? Ooh-la-la!

My Review:

Wow. Rose is a feisty little spitfire. A little naïve at times, but I loved her fierce independence. She also brings me back into contact with my favorite characters from Down Under, and I’d love her for that fact alone. Remy embodies the famous Churchill quote “a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma; but perhaps there is a key.” He holds so many secrets inside himself, most of them about Rose that she doesn’t even know herself. She’ll be a catalyst in his life, but will it be for good or ill? There is a lot of book here. A quick heads up; be prepared to commit some significant time to this story because once you start reading, you’re not going to want to put it down until the end. I was sucked in. From the very first words I read I was hooked. This story has the signature Donna Alam humor and steam, and then adds a thrilling note of intrigue that is completely new for me in this author’s work.

I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
