Short & Sweet Paranormal Romance with Supernatural Suspense
This is the fifth book in the Paranormal Talent Agency series. Much like on television, each episode contains a complete sweet paranormal romance and supernatural murder mystery. But the crossover characters and larger story suggest reading these in order.
My Review:
There was nothing about this book that was even remotely what I was expecting. Barbara has been a fascinating character throughout this series: the villain you love to hate. With all the little tidbits that have been dropped about her powers and her plans, I was ecstatic to finally get this chance to see the situation from her point of view. Liam was the complete shocker. And with him, what he knows about the councilwoman’s origins. I loved the message in this book of your choices determine your fate, and that bad choices aren’t always a life sentence. The breadcrumbs left for us about the final book in this trilogy makes me extremely antsy to see what the author has in store for us next.
