My Review:

I think the term I’m looking for is “gobsmacked”. My jaw is hanging loose in complete and total awe. This book is a blend of so many different genres that maybe shouldn’t work together, but in this story they flow seamlessly. Paranormal, romance, suspense, even comedy. All of this with a Lifestyle twist that left me breathless. Merris and Aleron are complex characters with strengths and weaknesses that dovetail nicely together. I loved watching the protector in Aleron come out. It was especially adorable to see how baffled he was that he even had those feelings. Merris has a quiet strength about her. At her feisty best, she was pure entertainment. I can’t wait to see what else is going to come out of this world, and I’m hoping we might get the chance to see Merris and Aleron again in the future.
