When Norah Baxter takes a position as the royal correspondent for the king of a small island nation off the coast of Africa, she hopes the new job will be the first of many changes in her life.
The last thing Norah expects is to meet the island’s lost prince on her flight, and the romance that develops comes as even more of a surprise. Could she ever fit in as the wife of the future king?

My Review:
~sigh~ What girl didn’t dream of finding her very own prince. I know I wasn’t the exception. Who didn’t also dream about maybe finding out they were long lost royalty? (Still not the exception here.) This book takes both of those themes and blends them seamlessly into one naughty whole. I appreciate that this story takes a couple of stereotypes and dumps them on their heads and gives us down-to-earth, relatable heroes in Mazi and Norah. We see the aftermath of some domestic abuse, so please be aware if that’s something that bothers you. It shows us how strong Norah is and I admire her for that. The chemistry between Mazi and Norah sparks off the page and it made me desperate to see them get their happy ever after ending. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book through Booksprout.
