My Review:

I think I’ve figured out part of the author’s secret to my inability to outthink the plot: there are always so many other fascinating things going on, I get distracted by the sparkly red herrings and totally overlook the important clues. For this fact alone, I adore this series. I was completely engrossed in the story, invested in the lives of the whole Crozat clan, and desperate to find out what was really going on since I didn’t pick up on the vital information to solve the mysteries. That was such a fun ride, I can’t wait to do it again.
