My Review:
Definitely Yes Holy hellfire. I don’t even know where to begin with this book. I thought the Maybe series took us to some dark and twisted places, but this story doubles those twists back on themselves to keep us guessing as to what’s really going on. And possibly the most frustrating thing for me is that I can’t even explain the emotional turmoil Scarlett’s story has put me through without giving away potential spoilers for the most dramatic parts of the story. Definitely No Ummm… what the heck just happened there? That was an amazing story, but I don’t quite know how I feel about it. It’s dark and twisted, passionate and emotional. It asks us to experience their most fundamental feelings: lust, love, joy, terror, and even overwhelming confusion. Nacio has so many secrets. Even some that he’s been keeping from himself. And by the time this book is over, we – and Scarlett – have learned most of them. I’m not sure what we should be expecting from the final book in the series, but I’m sure it’s going to be just as thrilling a ride. Definitely Forever Wow. That was not the story I was expecting, but that’s exactly what makes it so fabulous. There’s secrets and intrigue, thrills and action. All alongside a steamy sweet romance. The author gives us a brilliant solution to all the problems in front of Scarlett and Nacio that wasn’t anywhere on my radar as a possibility. Though there’s some deeply cringe-worthy moments in the end. Also, I love Preston! He needs a book of his own. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author.
