Mr. sexy and enigmatic is seeking a nanny.

I'm the lucky lady. But he's moody, impatient, and totally rude. And it's getting hard to ignore the rumors. Suspicions about why he moved into my small town.

People tell me he's damaged goods. Flawed or not, I wouldn't mind accepting his package. I just hope whatever he's running from is locked away for good.

My Review:

This story of loss and renewal took me for a roller-coaster ride. Sean and Emily’s romance is a slow build, but you can feel the overwhelming chemistry that arcs between them from the very first. I loved Emily’s fighting spirit and that she wasn’t afraid to hold Sean accountable when he was behaving like a jerk. I thought that she sometimes forgave him a little too easily, though. Sean’s love and fierce protectiveness for his children were admirable qualities. I didn’t entirely believe in the immediate success of his career as an author, but I suppose it could happen that easily. I was captivated waiting for the eleventh-hour twist that was hinted at in the beginning of the book, and I really enjoyed the way the author resolved that particularly sticky situation. I completely adored Tommy and Sarah, they regularly ran away with the story. It’s easy to see the truth in that old adage about working with children and animals. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book through Booksprout.
