Book Review: Booked on Murder by Allison Brook

My Review:

With their wedding day fast approaching, our bride- and groom-to-be stumble across a dead body in the middle of their venue. Will they be able to solve the growing collection of inter-related crimes and still make it to the altar on time? Or will it be lights out for their Happily Ever After? I loved how this book showed Carrie and Dylan as more of a team than we’ve ever seen them before. They each have their strengths and areas of expertise, and they’ve learned to trust one another to get the job done. Nearly everything about this story took me by surprise. I didn’t have the villain identified before the big reveal, and I hadn’t predicted any of the big surprises that were discovered. Now that we’ve gotten these two down the aisle, I have no guesses as to what the author has in store for them next.
