My Review:
This story was very much ‘opposites attract’. I loved Gage, but I’ve always loved the alpha military strong silent type of hero. Sheryl does and she doesn’t. Which pretty much sums up how I felt about her character. Because their communication styles are so different, this pair ends up with a lot of misconceptions. There’s also some conclusion jumping and a whole lot of blame ends up getting put where it doesn’t belong. In the end, this book gives us a beautiful message of loving people for who they are, not who you want them to be. I’m intrigued to see what’s in store for the next Heartwood sister. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
