A secret that threatens everything…

Catherine left Greg high and dry during their summer romance between high school and college. She only reluctantly returned to her hometown – where he had remained – very occasionally.

That all ends now her mother is old enough to need assistance and, to Catherine’s great surprise, she discovers that Greg wants her back, despite how badly she treated him before.

She's kept a very big secret from him, though. Will that end the rekindled romance before it begins?

Publisher's Note: This contemporary, sweet romance contains themes of power exchange.

My Review:

A sexy Scotsman with a kilt and a badge, who can resist this? I certainly couldn’t. More often than not, secret baby books leave me frothing at the mouth. I actually adored the way this one was handled in such a low key, low angst way. This book also had the added bonus of including the ‘second chance’ element, which I absolutely love to see in a book. Catherine is independent and opinionated. Not the kind of person I expect to see in this kind of a relationship, but she is the kind I like to see best. I want to see and alpha who’s worthy of the title earn it. And Greg does, with deep care and concern for Cat’s well-being. I have happily fallen in love with these characters and I’m sad to see it’s over already.
