Dawson Brothers Book 1
All I’ve ever wanted to do was write good music and sing my heart out, but my father expects different from his eldest son.
No matter how hard I try, I can't please him and be who I really am.
But everything changed the night a hot little city girl showed up at our local bar. Her skirt was tight, and her heels were high, but she was classy—a business woman. A talent agent.
I couldn’t help but notice the way she watched me as I stood on the stage, my guitar and a mic my only companions.
What did she want from me? A long night of passion?
The cold steel of the hood of my truck pressed to her back, and my warm hard body tucked against her front?
I couldn’t tell for sure, but it didn’t matter.
Outside of ranching and singing, I started to yearn for one thing... her.
David Dawson is the oldest brother of the rowdy Dawson boys, and the one his father depends on most to help run the family ranch. Unfortunately, he’s far more interested in playing music than baling hay. He plays at the local bar and gets lucky one night. A beautiful talent agent happens to be passing through the city and she’s desperate to find talent. Lucky, lucky girl. In more ways than one.
This is a stand-alone, full-sized novel in the Dawson Brothers’ series (8 books total). Each book focuses on a different brother/cousin. HEA is guaranteed, no cheating or violence.

My Review:
David and Sarah are perfect together. David's everything that makes for the best of romantic heroes. He's kind, a gentleman, loves his whole family, and he even has tons of musical talent. But before you start thinking he's too perfect, he has his flaws too: he puts his family's needs ahead of his own and he's not so good at communicating outside of his music. Sarah's a dynamic, little spitfire that's been burned by life a few too many times - she's got the iron walls protecting her marshmallow heart to prove it. She challenges David to live his dreams while he forces her to recognize her own. It hurt my heart every time misunderstandings came between them, but I loved watching these two learn how to put themselves and their relationship first in their priorities. I anxiously look forward to reading the rest of the Dawson brothers. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author.
