My Review:

Before I even started, I was certain that this book was going to be just like Mandy’s book in the series of short stories. It would leave me a bleeding, broken emotional mess but I needed to read it anyway. This book really surprised me because while there are lots of dramatic emotional moments, it’s lighter than I was expecting it to be. Throughout the story, there’s this sense of hope, that even if the sky is dark right now that it’ll be brighter again in the future. Mandy, Dalton, and Walker’s story is one of overcoming impossible odds, facing your demons and conquering them, and the power love has to accomplish anything. I still ended up a weepy crying mess in the end, but they were happy tears. And, I’m already dying to get my hands on the next book of the series.
