My Review:
I adore every chance I get to spend time in Laurel Springs. To get to spend it with such complex characters as Tucker and Karsyn makes it an extra special pleasure. Both of them have ghosts in their pasts that make forming a strong, healthy relationship a challenge. Watching them work through the challenges between them, seeing them grow, is exactly why I will read everything this author ever produces. She says right up front that she’s taken artistic license with some of the realities of the situation, but I was so caught up in the drama and emotions of the book that I certainly wasn’t paying any attention to pesky details like realism. Tucker may start the book behaving like a jerk, but by the end, he’s a romantic glob of marshmallow. And Karsyn’s just amazing. Period. Start to finish. I loved the ending to this story and I’m already dying to get my hands on the next one in the series.
